Owner/Doctor of Physical Therapy
Colleen O'Kane
Colleen received her bachelor degree in Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University. She completed an orthopedic manual therapy residency at Kaiser Permanente and obtained board certification in orthopedics. She received her master degree in Health Education and Administration at San Francisco State University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Pacific University. Specialized skills are in the areas of functional assessment, orthopedics, manual therapy, sports, pediatric & adolescent athletes, dance medicine, women’s fitness, ergonomics, sports & fitness training with a focus on core, motor control/muscle memory, & proper technique. She is an avid sports fan – particularly college (Go Buckeyes!), the Olympics, and youth sports. She loves it all! Colleen of course goes to her own children’s games, but also regularly attends her “kids” and adult clients’ games and performances. She loves to see them put in to place the techniques and activities addressed at the clinic. It also helps her plan “the next steps” for rehab and training to take each person to their highest level. Outside the clinic, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, travel, play at the beach, play with her kids, play badminton, beach volleyball, and ping pong, rollerblade, run, hike, bike, laugh, have fun, and just enjoy life!
